But then he realizes that's a bit odd. "You know, most people would go for Kal, not Kon. He came first, after all."
Kat-El accepts the scratch with only a little drawing back. He's not usually one to warm up to new people, but he also doesn't do well alone. Which Bart feels the need to explain.
"Little guy doesn't really go for strangers, but he also doesn't do well alone, so...he says with one of his emotional support humans."
