[ This is technically Tim’s second trip outside the hotel since arriving. The first was yesterday, in costume, and done to buy the nondescript clothing he could from as quickly as possible.
Which is why he’s out and about again today, in a thick grey hoodie over a tank top, black jeans and plain sneakers, hoping to buy clothes with slightly more personality to them, to move Tim Drake further away from the purchases of Robin. The booths don’t seem to have much in the way of clothes, just superhero tchotchkes and street meet, so he is making do with whatever is in his size. The booths take the hotel credit card, but don’t seem to have cameras.
Tim spots what looks like a Wonder Woman action figure variant that he wants a better look at. He grabs a red toque with an unfamiliar logo and picks up the figure, dropping it inside the hat before passing them to the booth worker. ]
I’ll take these. Oh - hey, that one’s cool!
[ Another figure, again one that he doesn’t recognize. He makes a show of admiring the second figure without trying to name the persona or call them a new arrival. ]
The face is crisp, and the pose is good. Like you believe they’re going to move. I’ll take this one too, please.
[ While waiting to be rung up, Tim moves to one side to make room for another browser with a small smile. ]
Sorry, I’ll be done in a minute. Did you see booths selling coats?
[ If he had a wool coat, he wouldn’t look quite so young from a distance. ]

[ Five minutes ago, Robin was checking out the city in the way that he is most comfortable - from the roofline, until he gets a feel for the lay of things.
He arrived to this Earth as Robin, and so must always present as Robin when using any services that may track him back to the hotel, including teleportation to other cities. He was going to find somewhere discrete to change but then… Dino-Dan.
Now, he’s being dive bombed by a pterodactyl wearing Jordans, but he’s somewhat resigned to this being the day he will have. ]
I ask you, is this the fun Excelsior has to offer?
