( stomping around as a ten-foot monster, surprisingly, isn’t the most convenient thing in the world. while venom enjoys fronting, he also enjoys hitching a ride on eddie in ways that don’t require him to feel massive around delicate things, like flower pots and tiny petals.
so he gradually shrinks away until eddie is left behind, no worse for wear.
but fear not! venom is always near. when eddie extends a hand for a shake, it’s soon transformed into a black claw molded over with living goo. )
