Henderson - the kid - and me were playing distraction. Kid got hurt, and I realized if we retreated, then the things we were distracting would either come through to our world, or they'd go and kill the others.

So I... cut off my means of escape, so Henderson didn't do something stupid like come through and get himself killed too, and... kept them distracted.
