I think he's going to come to his senses and realise there's nothing all that special about me, he has all these hobbies and I'm this [ GESTURING AT THE ROAD as if it holds all the truth in the world ] boring guy who he thinks he likes right now but what if he figures out I'm not as interesting as someone else who knows all about his bands and nerdy games and whatever? How am I supposed to compete with that? And I know what he would say if he knew I was thinking that, he'd say Do you think I'm that shallow, Steve? and I'm like, no, I'm just afraid I'm that shit?

I don't like anything he does, I just like him. I like him and I'm ... I'm really trying not to screw this up. Because of liking him so much.
