The sudden voice was enough to distract from the discussion over the picture box. Kaladin turned his head, looking for the source, before finally thinking to look down and coming face to face with a... thing. An animal? Well, maybe not if it could talk. Was that normal here too? Storms.

"Uh...." He started, before glancing around and clearing his throat. Syl at least seemed distracted from the box and zipped down to get a closer look at the odd creature. "Well, sitting around staring at one of these doesn't sound like a good use of time anyway."
