"When you have more than the usual five senses, it's harder to be fooled," they say with something approaching a cheshire grin. "And the card will allow you to purchase a more specialized card that lets you ride the bus. Humans are very good at complicating things like that. Busses are public transportation that travel specific routes on a schedule. So they can't take you everywhere in the city, just where a stop is, and only if you take one that goes to that stop. Sometimes you need to change busses to get from point A to point B."

It's all pretty draconian, but reasonable if you don't want to deal with owning a car or summoning one every time you wanted to travel.

"Do you have cities on your world? I mean places where not just thousands, but hundreds of thousands live together?" Because a little background might be a good thing.
