There's curiosity there, too. Wondering who made Kon, what human contributed the DNA, how his Clark must feel about this, what sort of life he's led until now, but she knows when to turn off the reporter in favor of just being a person.

[She hadn't been too inclined to ask any other heroes, not when she doesn't know them from Adam, but she'll make the offer to Kon. It's a sign of trust, more than anything. If his Clark gave him a Kryptonian name, it must mean he approves, and that's enough for her, for now.]
