Huvrye's order takes a little longer - "cinnamon things" translates well enough, and he gets a couple of crunchwraps because he hasn't eaten for the better part of a week, but figuring out a drink takes a minute. He doesn't recognize anything under the 'drinks' section except for water - evidently Taco Bell is not a good place to get coffee - and winds up telling the cashier to surprise him, which gets him something called a Baja Blast, whatever that winds up being.

His expression flattens when Peter comments on the papers. So much for not having a reputation here, though at least it's an opinion on a larger group and not him specifically. "Great. What did we do to deserve that?" His tone is as flat as his expression.

But Peter keeps going, and he tilts his head. "Wait, the mind control was done with machines, right? Can't you just tell them to turn off?"
