One minute, she was being whisked away from her first public appearance after getting released from C.R.A.D.L.E.'s reeducation center, after Roxxon's instigators attacked... The next thing she knows, she's somewhere completely different, with people under mind control, attacking hospitals. She just— can't deal with that shit right now. Maybe that makes her a bad hero, but she likes to think her therapists would have her back and tell her it's a good thing that she prioritized self-care in the face of a triggering event. She's still trying to retrain her mind out from under Roxxon's influence. She's not ready to get back out there as a hero yet.

So, she runs. She hides. Cowardly, maybe. But whatever.

After the dust has settled, Lana stands in the lobby of a fancy-ass hotel, holding a credit card that she's told has no strings attached. She's not sure whether to believe that. Maybe once, she would have rushed off to go on a shopping spree on someone else's dime. But it's hard to trust like that these days.

If she notices someone looking at her, she'll offer a weak smile, and gesture at the card. ]

[ The source of the yelling that just interrupted your day is a young brunette woman in a skull t-shirt and ripped jeans. Her protests don't seem to effect the robot enforcer cornering her, though. If anything, swearing at it is only going to earn her another infraction. The robot grabs her and hoists her over his shoulder, aiming to cart her off to whatever authority might be nearby. ]
