[If he's being really honest with himself, Peter has not felt terribly heroic over the last few months. He'd like to blame it on having a strange kind of identity crisis when he met not one, not two, but three different versions of himself from across the multiverse. It made him feel... a little inferior. Like he was an extra. Like... Like he's somehow less. And then of course two of those other Peters (and other friends he'd made) got whisked back to where they came from, and then this little piddy had a whole new kind of existential crisis on hand.
It's not been a fun few months.
So of course he's chosen this particular day to try to get back into the swing (ha. "swing.") of things. To feel like he could make Uncle Ben proud again. And he's done pretty well so far! Subdued and freed some of the people who were being controlled, brought them to safe spaces before jumping back into the fray to keep going. It's nice. He feels much more Spider-Man-y than he has in a bit.
It's on one of those back and forths that Spidey catches sight of a familiar face, ducked into a corner away from where all the craziness is happening. And naturally he stops, eyes widening behind his mask, before he starts to carefully make his way over.]
...Lana?
[There's always the chance he's wrong. Or maybe it's another version of Lana, one who doesn't know who he is. Either way, he's already made up his mind to help her out.]
