That was worth a chuckle and so Sym gave one as he led the dinosaur back towards the rift in time. Once the heel of his boot hit the edge of it, he slowly rose to stand and held the food up. The dinosaur's gaze followed and then, likely surprising no one at all, Sym tossed the food into the grass on the other side of the rift.
The dinosaur tromped off after it, stepping out of the city in the here and now and back into its own time in pursuit of a snack. Of course, the rift wouldn't snap shut immediately, which meant Sym turned to observe it now that it was safely back through, there on the very edge of two times.
"I can think of some who would call you the corruptive influence, Solanaceae, now that I think of it," he added without a hint of seriousness. Perhaps it was them both corrupting one another, how funny would that be?
"This is a strange place, though, is it not? Your Earth or... a Earth, I presume. As excited as I was to find myself in a real human city, I can't quite help but feel this one isn't quite right."
