This may be a terrible day for a Confluence, but it's kind of an amazing day to be flown through the air like Kaz is. It's probably for the best that he is painfully unmedicated easily distracted, because he is somewhat torn from his confusion about where he is and how he got here (did the wormhole transporter glitch? he doesn't even remember using it) by the pretty fireworks and the rockin' New Year's party.
Then he is further distracted from that once someone gets knocked over and near-trampled by that woman with the gigantor powers, and he rushes over to check on them, shooing other people out of their space so they can breathe without getting further trampled. "Hey, you okay? You hurting anywhere?"

Kidnapping and forced removal from everything and everyone he knows and loves aside, this place is amazing. For a guy used to sharing pretty much everything with way too many siblings, there is so much space here and the free credit card is borderline irresponsible. He has already amassed a sizeable wardrobe and library of comic books and collectibles (those count as research, right?) (those accountants are definitely going to want to have several words with him), though he hasn't, like, tried to buy a jet or anything with it, so he hasn't gone completely out of his mind.
What he has done, however, is head to the pool with a 100% not-hotel-approved pool toy to just absolutely wreck the masses with. Okay, maybe not wreck the masses considering that a not-insignificant number of guests have superpowers, but even most superpowered individuals do not expect to be facing down the supersoaker barrel of a floating tank.
So good luck with that.
