Link knows his own face. Maybe not as well as most, but he's seen it enough times in the reflections of ponds and the shine of his shields to have a passing familiarity. And the resemblance is uncanny. And that isn't mentioning the sword he carries.
He draws the Master Sword from his own back. The metal blade seems to ring as it moves through the air. He's gotten impressions from it before-- dreamlike flashes of lives that aren't his own-- but it's never emoted like this before. It lies still in his hands, but there's this sense of quivering in anticipation.
He holds it out to show to this other man. This whole situation is strange and confusing and he doesn't understand what's going on or why it's important (and it is so clearly important), but that isn't too different from how much of his life has felt since he Awoke. He's found that it's much better to just go with these sorts of things.
