interestingly enough, the idea of it still makes her rather irritated. for as much disrespect is expected at this point, she loathed the idea of raine having to experience that sort of derogatory treatment. it's probably better that she made the decision to move them somewhere away from the people.
she'd hate to make a scene right now.
what she does instead is slowly shrug off her weather-proof jacket and slide it across the table to raine. she's been wearing a loose sweaterknit top underneath, showing off the skin of one shoulder and the blackened gem on her chest. )
