[He pulls out his phone and goes on the group chat to text them. Then lets out a loud snort at a meme that was left on there by one of them, relevant to the ongoing conversation, and has to stifle a laugh. He's grinning slightly as he taps out a quick text.]

[That's something Raine's never really seen before either. If he ever smiled, it was very smug, not a normal teen laughing at an inside joke with some friends.]
