( without much of a struggle, he topples over and falls back against the flooring with a heavy thud the second he's pushed down and he stays down, unwilling to protest.
the way jason talks about alfred... yeah. alfred's always been good at patching him up when he needs to be. also good at kicking his ass, both literally and figuratively, when needed. it's always either be himself or alfred when it comes to first aid, so to have it be someone else β someone who supposedly knows some... other him... it's new and he doesn't know how to feel about it. probably why he keeps the mask on. even if jason here knows who batman is.
which is something he'll have to revisit when he's not bleeding all over the floor of this building, being patched up by the guy who can't seem to figure out how he feels about him. there's history with some other him, that much he's gathered. but him. where's that going to lead? if anywhere? he wonders. how true is it that he would leave him here to bleed on his own and isn't just using the excuse of this nightwing being furious with him if he did? he doesn't know. but he does wonder.
eyes are lazy in the way they watch jason do what he needs to do. he's not about to drift off again as he had on his shoulders. but the break is nice. even if it's just for a little bit.
