The present day(2023) accounts of Starstruck are not favorable. They speak of a power-hungry meta who flew too close to the sun and destroyed Central City, forcing the metahumans of the present to take him out. Though given her history, she may realize that this is a clear coverup meant to protect metahumans as a whole.. and perhaps the memory of the real child beneath the mask.
Starstruck may remind Ororo of the students she's had at Xavier's throughout the years. It's clear that Starstruck wants to do good, and is by all accounts doing so - but it's clear to a skilled teacher that he may have more power than he knows how to handle. The boy has only scratched the surface of what he can do, and he's in dire need of a teacher. He's quick to show off what he can do once anyone shows interest.
And he's painting an awful big target on his back as he edges into more serious crime-thwarting.
